Terms of use
Last updated 29 September 2026
Please read these terms before creating an account. Questions? Email support@lstmb.lagos.gov.ng.
1. About these terms
This portal is run by the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board (“the Board”). By creating an account or using the portal, you agree to these terms. How we use your personal data is explained in our privacy notice.
2. Who can use the portal
The portal is for traditional medicine practitioners applying for or holding a Board licence, owners of premises registering with the Board, and Board staff. Anyone can use the public pages, including the licence and sign-post check.
3. Your account
- Create one account for yourself, in your own legal name as it appears on your NIN slip.
- Keep your password and one-time codes private. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@lstmb.lagos.gov.ng if you think someone else has used your account.
- Keep your email address and phone number up to date so we can reach you.
4. Giving true information
Everything you enter and upload must be true, complete and your own, including your documents and your referees’ details. Giving false information or forged documents is an offence. The Board may refuse, suspend or revoke an application, licence or registration obtained that way, and may report it to the authorities.
5. Applications and decisions
Submitting an application does not mean it will be approved. Board officers review each application and may ask you to correct or add information. Licences and facility registrations are issued, renewed, suspended or revoked by the Board under Lagos State law, and are valid only for the period shown on them.
6. Fees and payments
Fees are set by the Board and shown on the homepage and on each invoice before you pay. Payments are made online through the Board’s payment provider. If you are debited but the portal still shows a fee as unpaid, do not pay again: contact support@lstmb.lagos.gov.ng with your payment reference. Fees are not refundable unless the Board decides otherwise.
7. Using the portal properly
You must not:
- use another person’s account, or apply on someone’s behalf without their permission;
- try to open records or pages you are not allowed to see;
- upload anything harmful, such as viruses, or anything that is not a genuine document for your application;
- interfere with the portal or overload it, including with automated tools.
The Board may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the portal available at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Where a deadline is affected by a problem with the portal, contact support@lstmb.lagos.gov.ng.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you when you next sign in.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lagos State and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
